I’ve always been curious about how successful individuals became successful.

Was it because they were born into a successful family? Was it luck, like winning the lottery? Was it a miracle? I knew there was some who worked extremely hard to become “successful”, whatever that might look like for you, but I, of course, I was one of those negative people who always had a rhyme or reason about why someone was successful until I chose to take a step back and understand that the only reason why I was so negative was because I was not in the place I wanted to be… I, wasn’t “successful”
No successful story happens overnight, there are no miracles to success. Most of the time, when we look at someone else’s success, we fail to see the time and effort it took to get there. I have learned never to compare my success with others. I’ve also learned to surround myself with the people, or at least the energy and information of like-minded individuals who have dreams, desire, and ambition. BUT, It all starts with a choice… YOUR choice!!! The choice to either live the lifestyle that has created you… or the lifestyle YOU create! You can make a difference or excuses, It’s up to you.
So how do you get there? There are 5 daily habits that I consistently do daily to live a positive “successful” life and continue on my path in the direction I want! THIS BRINGS ME HAPPINESS!! Now, I know these might sound silly to some but I promise if you stick to these positive daily habits you will be well on your way to your idea of “success” and reach those goals you are shooting for. Implement each one over the course of the day, or start your day with a bit of each. Even if you dedicate just 5 minutes of each, your positive powerful energy will become habit and will spill over into each and everything you do and every person you’re around.
Of course, my daily habits might a bit different from others, but the idea is the same. I want to share with you what helps ME stay motivated, happy, and keeps the forward momentum to grow myself and my business. The saying goes… “Success favors the prepared”. Use these daily activities to prepare your mind, body, and soul!

Exercise:

giving yourself 30 min of exercise a day! It does not have to be strenuous, it can be as easy as taking a brisk walk or working out from home but move your body for 30 min a day gets your heart rate up and moving. I tend to realize that when I start my morning with a 30 min run it clears my head and it is a stress reliever for me!

Gratitude:

What is it that you are grateful for? Writing down 3 things I am grateful for everyday brings the positive mindset. Everyday I think of 3 different items, it is so easy to complain and think of the negative it’s time to shift your mindset.

Read:

Read a good book for 30 min, depending on what your goals are I tend to read books that focus on growth. Leadership books, books written by my mentors and people who I look up to who are going to help me grow. I’m sure there are other books that are great reads and who doesn’t love a good laugh or cry for the hopeless romantic! Strive for success grab a book that pushes your to the limit!

Journal:

I journal everyday because I like to get my emotions on paper. I like to celebrate the little successes, just as much as my success I write down my failures. Failures are not always a negative if learn from them! It’s productive to look back on road blocks and failures and celebrate your overcoming of each one. While journaling, I also write down my affirmations: I write down my goals down as if they have already happened. The more and more I write down my goals as if I’ve already succeeded, the more positive energy I create and pour into the universe, this exercise completely boosts the confidence I have in myself to get there!

Act if Kindness:

Telling someone how much you appreciate them. Send a thank you card an email or just asking someone who they are goes a long way not only do you make the individual feel better about themselves but it also makes you a better version of yourself.
These five steps are very simple! Can you do them everyday consistently or is as easy to not do them as it is to do them. What makes you different than 95% if people is that you can do the simple things everyday consistently that overtime you have momentum to get to the top of that hill.
