Monday was officially my first day of my second 30-Day to Health Living challenge and as expected I am already feeling more energized, lighter and motivated to continue on with this challenge. Of course I convinced my husband to join me in this challenge though he was not hard to convince. He has always been the one to have a healthier mind set than me. Those of you who know me all knows that!!!
Anyways, so far so good with my first week but before I go into depth with how my days have been I just wanted to point out that everyone is going to have a different schedule and that is one thing that I really enjoy with Arbonne. This is not a diet plan though you will definitely see results in weight loss. Meal prepping is just something that is very difficult for me to withhold every day Monday through Friday being a busy working mom of four kids I just simply can not keep up. I do not have to count calories or portion out my food to the exact measurements. Of course you are going to have a guideline that I give you to help but staying true to that exact outline does not mean you are going to fail in this challenge. A fellow Arbonne consultant has made a very good point by stating,
” Even if you give you 85% of your efforts you will be that much closer to your goals…”
I loved this and here is why! You are already taking the step forward to make a change in your life whether for weight loss or wanting a healthier lifestyle that’s huge! It is hard for many to give up the fast food, sweets, coffee, alcohol etc. and hello I AM ONE OF THEM! So taking it step by step you will start feeling the difference in your skin, hair, nails, sleep, energy I can go on and on. This is what is going to drive you to meet the 100% effort and commitment. My very first challenge I did not stay 100% committed, the majority of my day I had my shakes and fizz sticks but lets get real I work in a medical office that constantly has lunches bought for us Starbucks coffee and co-workers who constantly snack and bring them into my office. It was very hard to stay true and consistent with the challenge but even with that I felt great!! It was easier the next days to say no because at that point I didn’t want it or ruin what I was working hard for. So trust me when I say that you are not the only one who feels nervous about commitment or the ones that are sitting there saying I cant do this for 30 days. Trust me anyone can do anything for 30 days and you guys I promise when I say you wont regret it.
Okay so back to my first week, day one I was pretty stoked, woke up early had my tea and my shot of digestive plus! Off to a good start with making my pomegranate fizz and lime over ice and already had my chocolate shake with kale berries and strawberries. Man oh man those shakes are sooo good to the point that after I made one it was gone because I have these three little kids who love them so much they drink it before I can even pour it in my cup to go. Of course now I have to make two batches every morning. Here is what I like it is so quick and easy to put some snacks together for example cucumber and hummus and rice cakes keeping it simple. Plus having my fizz which I can not go a day with out whether or not I am on my cleanse. Keeping it simple is the way I go because I am not a early riser the more sleep I get the better for everyone else. For all the busy moms out there I am sure you can relate. I do pack another shake in my to go cup and have that around 1:00 and come home to an amazing dinner with my family. Now guys, if you do have kids and a family incorporating this into your family will be one of the best things you do. Not only does it help you stay on your challenge but they will really enjoy it. We have had dinners within this week that my kids would never ask for or want, however they are asking for seconds and if not asking for seconds they are at least enjoying the meals we are preparing and cleaning there plates which as a mom is a great feeling, knowing that our family is eating clean and healthy and I do not have to force them and hear the gripe. Ending the day with some warm tea sets the tone of having a great night sleep.
I have continued this schedule everyday for the first week, of course changed out some snack options but all in all it has been such an easy schedule to follow. Again, my days are different everyday and how simple and easy it is to incorporate this into my family life and work life has made it worth my while. Not to mention we have a wonderful Facebook support group who is communicating all day everyday. Any questions you have, recipe suggestions snack suggestions we even give you a shopping guide! Having the encouragement and motivation from others is very helpful. And I will be with you every step of the way to ensure you have the best experience.
I am feeling great and wanting to share this journey with you all is such a blessing for me. I want to be able to help as many as I can to achieve there goals in there health and well-being. It is okay to be apprehensive but I can promise that you will not be dissatisfied with how you feel.
One of my clients just message me today and I love what he had to say,
“It’s crazy how I don’t want junk food too I swear this stuff is working wonders.”
I love being able to hear the feedback from my family, friends and clients and help them along there new journey.
